Docent Tours

Whether it’s your very first visit to the Fenimore Art Museum, or you’d simply like to experience the museum in a whole new way, taking a Docent Tour of the Fenimore is an opportunity you won’t want to miss! Guided by an “in-character” member of the Templeton Players, you’ll delve into the finer points of each exhibit and experience the museum and its exhibits in a whole new way.

Cooperstown comes alive each winter for Winter Carnival. A proud town tradition for over 40 years, you and your family can enjoy food tasting competitions, lip-synch battles, snow-tubing, and so much more.

 

Rockin’ Around Cooperstown Ugly Sweater Run & Walk

And speaking of proud traditions…get that ugly sweater from Aunt Agatha that’s hidden in the back of your closet and don your running shoes! The Ugly Sweater Run & Walk brings the entire village of Cooperstown together dressed in their best Ugly Sweaters – especially those ugly holiday sweaters! - as they run around the village giving that sweater some much needed exercise! Afterwards, enjoy food and drinks in the local establishments, or take in a beautiful bell performance by Pathfinder Village.

 

Snommegang

Craft beer enthusiast? Don’t miss your chance to sample beers from more than 30 breweries at Snommegang! This beer festival, favored by one and all, returns to Main Street in Oneonta and is a great way to sample several local beers from upstate New York.
