The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum houses about 40,000 three-dimensional artifacts. Only a small portion of the Museum's artifacts are on display at a given time due to space constraints and preservation efforts. The purpose of artifact spotlights is two-fold; to provide our visitors with a better understanding of museum practices and to tell the often untold stories of artifacts in the collection.
The collections and museum programs staff have selected 5 sets of artifacts for the presentations, which occur in the Learning Center. Various topics include Ballparks, Equipment, Hall of Fame History, International Players, and Military and Baseball.
Presentations will be held at 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM Monday-Friday beginning on June 29th and ending on July 31st, with the exception of July 23rd, 24th, and 27th due to the Induction Ceremony.
