National Baseball Hall of Fame 76th Birthday Celebration

baseball-hall-of-fame-eventThe Museum will celebrate its 76th birthday on Friday, June 12, reflecting on the historic events of that day in 1939 as the Hall of Fame was formally commemorated. Special programs will fill the day on Friday.

All Day - 76th Birthday Card (Main Entrance, Museum Lobby)
Wish a Happy Birthday to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by signing our birthday card, located at the Main Entrance on the first floor of the museum.

10:00AM -The Plaques of the Gallery (Buck O'Neil Award, 1st Floor)
Learn about the history of the Hall of Fame Gallery and the process by which each plaque is made and installed in this 20 minute guided tour.

11:00AM - 1:00PM - Open Hours in the Learning Center (1st Floor)
This interactive room allows families to explore baseball history through hands-on items from the Hall of Fame's education collection. Stop by and learn how the equipment and style of the uniforms have changed over time.

2:00PM - So You Think You Know Baseball (Bullpen Theater, 1st Floor)
Test your knowledge of baseball history in this interactive game show. Make your way through nine 'innings' of questions, and win a free year-long membership to the museum.

4:00PM-A Hall for Heroes Film Screening (Bullpen Theater, 1st Floor)
Join us for a special screening of this film produced by MLB Advanced Media and narrated by Bob Costas as we honor the Hall of Fame's 76th birthday.
