The Baseball Project
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will celebrate the connection between rock music and the National Pastime on Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m., when the Grandstand Theater will play host to "The Baseball Project," as part of the Cooperstown Concert Series.
Since their formation in 2007, The Baseball Project has won over audiences with brilliant musical tributes to baseball, the game, its stars and impact on American culture and society.
The Baseball Project is a special event presented by the Cooperstown Concert Series. Tickets are available by contacting the Cooperstown Concert Series at (607) 547-1812, online at www.cooperstownconcertseries.org or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An indie rock super group composed of Steve Wynn (Dream Syndicate), Scott McCaughey (Young Fresh Fellows), Linda Pitmon (Zuzu's Petals) and Mike Mills and Peter Buck (R.E.M.), The Baseball Project has become well-loved for their brilliant, catchy and historically accurate songs of baseball lore and oddball characters. A concert by The Baseball Project is not to be missed and the chance to see them at the Hall of Fame's Grandstand Theater is a one-of-a-kind event.
