Many foods that we might think of as quintessentially American, got their start in New York State–thanks to some resourceful and creative folks. Featured foods include: Shredded Wheat, Ketchup, Thousand Island dressing, Speidies, Ice Cream Sundaes, Buffalo Wings, Beech-Nut Gum, Life Savers, Jello and more. Learn more about these fabulous foods and many more throughout The Farmers’ Museum’s Main Barn exhibition for 2011-2012 and you’ll leave hungry!
