Americana Academy Workshop: Hot Frame Gardening

Jump-start your garden with this ancient technique that can beat the late winter cold! You will first construct your own 3 ft x 2 ft frame to take home, then learn how to set it up by working on the hot frames in our own historic gardens. We'll even send you home with a hand-picked variety of heirloom seeds and seedlings to get started right away!

Location: Creamery Classroom / Lippitt Farmstead garden
Class Fee: Members $30, Non-members $40, Juniors (12-16) $25. Hot frame kit $55.

Please wear comfortable and warm clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bringing gardening gloves is recommended.
