This month's theme is Colors of Autumn featuring the flavors and sights of the fall season, paired with comforting wine selections. Each small-plate food tasting features an accompanying wine. Food samplings include Pastrami Cured Salmon with pickled Brussels sprouts/house made mustard/rye caraway crisp paired with Pailshop Vineyards Traminette, 2014 (Fly Creek); Frisee & Beet Greens with salted roasted beets/warm house cured bacon vinaigrette/Painted Goat Farms snow paired with Heron Hill "Ingle Vineyard" Riesling, 2014 (Hammondsport, NY); Porcini Dusted Lamb Loin with Castle Valley Mills "Bloody Butcher" grits/roast hen of the woods/fig reduction paired with Domaine Drouhin "Dundee" Pinot Noir, 2014 (Willamette, OR); and Harvest Cake with carrot/parsnip/zucchini/apple/cinnamon cider cream cheese icing for dessert paired with Jackson-Triggs "Vidal" Icewine, 2013 (Niagara, Canada).
