Glimmer Globe Theatre presents a bold, gender-blind reimagining of Shakespeare's audacious, farcical problem play, The Taming of the Shrew. This "play-within-a-play" sees a troupe of actors performing a "kind of history" for a town drunk, telling him the story of the unmarried Katherina, and her tumultuous courtship by a young Venetian named Petruchio. Co-Artistic Director of Glimmer Globe Theatre Michael Henrici will direct this cast of talented regional actors, and will also star as Petruchio alongside his wife and fellow Co-Artistic Director Danielle Henrici, as Katherina. In the event of a performance cancelation due to inclement weather, all tickets will be valid for any subsequent Glimmer Globe performance for the rest of the season. Tickets: $15 Adults (13-64), $13.50 Members/Seniors (65+), $10 Juniors (7-12), Free ages 6 and under (please select the free ticket option).
